I retired from teaching high school English and work part-time at an industrial plant to allow me the time to write. Presently, I’m working on a middle grade novel for boys, a novel featuring a wingless, disinherited princess fairy for girls, and a young adult novel involving time stasis and some intriguing marbles. Cats curl up around the house as I write, providing vicarious sleep. Hummingbirds buzz bomb the feeder, providing energy inspiration. Deep, dark chocolate lives in the cupboard, providing the occasional energy burst. I am also writing high school history curriculum with my friend Lee Joyner.
